Job Summary

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher (Cross-Categorical) to support students with diverse learning needs in a structured academic environment. The ideal candidate will provide individualized instruction promote academic and social-emotional development and support inclusion within general education settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized instruction in a cross-categorical special education setting
• Develop implement and maintain Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with guidelines
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate academic and behavioral records
• Collaborate with general education teachers support staff and families
• Adapt lesson plans to accommodate diverse learning needs and abilities
• Foster a safe structured and supportive classroom environment
• Participate in team meetings professional development and school activities

Required Qualifications

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience working with students with diverse disabilities preferred
• Strong classroom management and instructional skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with staff students and parents
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
