Job Summary
Role Overview:
We are looking for professionals with hands-on experience in MongoDB cluster design Ops Manager and performance tuning along with expertise in automation and security best practices.
Key Skills Required:
- Strong experience with MongoDB replica sets and sharded clusters
- Hands-on experience with MongoDB Ops Manager (BRS setup onboarding upgrades)
- Expertise in MongoDB security (X.509 TLS/SSL authentication & authorization)
- Experience in backup restore and monitoring automation using Python/Shell scripting
- Strong understanding of shard keys indexing and data distribution strategies
- Experience in MongoDB upgrades migrations and cluster scaling
- Knowledge of replication architecture change streams and query performance tuning
- Experience working on Linux platforms
- Exposure to AWS migration for MongoDB clusters
Key Responsibilities:
- Design configure and manage MongoDB replica sets and sharded clusters
- Monitor troubleshoot and optimize database performance and stability
- Implement and maintain security standards across MongoDB environments
- Automate operational tasks including backup restore and monitoring
- Handle cluster upgrades migrations and scaling activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability and performance
