Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Android QA Engineer with experience in Android OS and Automotive/Projection systems to support quality engineering initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in API and UI test automation along with solid debugging capabilities and a deep understanding of mobile application testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Design develop and execute test strategies and test cases for Android-based applications and systems.
- Perform API and UI automation testing for mobile and embedded Android platforms.
- Validate applications running on Android OS and Android Automotive OS (AAOS) or projection systems.
- Analyze and debug issues across application API and system layers.
- Collaborate with development DevOps and product teams to ensure high-quality releases.
- Work with CI/CD pipelines to enable automated test execution and continuous validation.
- Review logs identify defects and support root cause analysis.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong experience with Android OS testing and mobile application QA.
- Proficiency in Java or Kotlin for test automation.
- Experience with API testing and UI automation frameworks.
- Knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS protocols REST APIs and debugging tools.
- Familiarity with Android Automotive OS (AAOS) or projection systems (preferred).
- Experience using tools such as Git Jira Jenkins or GitLab.
- Strong debugging analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in automotive or embedded systems testing environments.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of test frameworks such as Selenium Appium Espresso or similar tools.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
