We are seeking a Senior Data Architect (E3) with deep expertise in data architecture data modeling and cloud data platforms specifically within the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain. The ideal candidate will bring a consulting mindset and strong stakeholder engagement skills to drive enterprisewide data strategy modernization and advanced analytics initiatives.
This role will focus on designing scalable secure and highperformance data architectures that support core insurance functions while leading legacy modernization and cloud migration efforts.
Qualifications
10 years of experience in data architecture or data engineering
At least 3 years of handson experience in P&C insurance
Strong understanding of insurance data domains:
Policy
Claims
Billing
Underwriting
Actuarial
Regulatory reporting
Experience with cloud data platforms such as:
AWS Redshift
Snowflake
Proven experience in data modernization initiatives
Strong proficiency in:
Data modeling (conceptual logical physical)
ETL / ELT design
Data warehousing
Handson experience with ETL and BI tools:
Informatica
DataStage
Tableau
Cognos
Power BI
Familiarity with insurance core systems and standards:

Collaborate closely with:

Lead modernization of legacy systems and migration to cloudbased data platforms
Define data integration strategies across:
Internal systems (e.g. Duck Creek)
Thirdparty providers (ISO LexisNexis)
Ensure data quality lineage governance and regulatory compliance:

Enable advanced analytics predictive modeling and AI/ML initiatives through highquality data architecture
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineers and analysts
