Role Overview:
This role focuses on test method development automation prototyping and data analysis to support characterization and verification of advanced medical device components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize test methods for device characterization and verification
- Design and implement automated test setups and scripts to improve efficiency and throughput
- Build instrument control logic and hardware automation solutions
- Design and prototype 3D printed fixtures for testing and evaluation
- Evaluate and optimize manufacturing equipment (e.g. additive manufacturing systems)
- Analyze test data improve signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and document findings
- Collaborate with R&D Quality and Manufacturing teams to support product development and scalability
Required Skills:
- Experience in test method development and automation
- Hands-on experience with hardware testing scripting or instrumentation control
- Exposure to prototyping and fixture development (3D printing preferred)
- Strong analytical skills for data analysis and reporting
- Experience in medical devices / regulated environments (preferred)
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in cross-functional teams
