Job Summary

1st Grade Teacher Windham SAU# 95

Windham NH

2026-2027 School Year

Responsibilities:

The First Grade Classroom Teacher is responsible for delivering a developmentally appropriate standards-based educational program that supports the academic social and emotional growth of all students. The teacher will create a safe inclusive and engaging classroom environment that fosters a love of learning and promotes student success.

Key responsibilities:Ensuring the safety and supervision of all students; designing and implementing lesson plans aligned with the Windham School District curriculum standards; and providing high-quality differentiated instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners. The teacher will regularly assess and analyze student performance data to inform instructional practices and improve student outcomes.

The classroom teacher will collaborate effectively with colleagues specialists and other members of the school community to support student learning and school-wide addition the teacher will establish and maintain strong partnerships with parents and guardians to support student progress and promote open ongoing communication.

Qualifications:State of NH Certification is required as outlined by the New Hampshire Department of Education.
