We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive healthcare services within a correctional facility setting. The RN will deliver patient care administer medications support providers and ensure the health and safety of residents in a structured and secure environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care including assessments treatments and medication administration
Execute provider orders and assist during examinations and procedures
Conduct sick calls and prepare patients for evaluation
Monitor and manage acute and chronic health conditions
Respond to medical emergencies and coordinate care with providers
Supervise and support LPNs and other healthcare staff
Maintain accurate and confidential medical records
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and correctional standards
Provide patient education and health counseling
Monitor hospitalizations and coordinate follow-up care
Required Qualifications
Education:
Graduate from an accredited nursing program
Licensure & Certifications:
Active RN license in the state of employment
Valid Drivers License
Experience:
Minimum 1 year of professional nursing experience preferred
