What you will be doing:

This role will be a part of the data center support group tasked with configuring SAN/NAS systems managing backup solutions and maintaining the security of the data center. This position includes monitoring and providing daily support to ensure the health and availability of IT systems and infrastructure both on-premises and for cloud-based programs and applications. Responsibilities will involve planning installation and maintenance as well as troubleshooting and managing all Storage Engineer servers and applications. The role involves designing implementing and overseeing an organizations data storage systems working with networks databases and other high-capacity systems. The duties will include planning installation maintenance during or after-work hours troubleshooting and managing all Storage Engineer servers and applications.

Position Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

Experience:

• Experience with SAN technologies in a highly virtualized and converged environment.
• Experience maintaining a high availability datacenter.
• Relevant skills include VMWare Vsphere Linux Red Hat Windows Server SQL MySQL EMC SAN technologies and applications and Active Directory.

Education:

• BA/BS from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 5 years experience or substitute with AA/AS with 7 years experience.

Certifications:

• IAT Level II (CySA Security CND or SSCP) Certification and CE/OS Certification.

Physical Demands

This is largely a sedentary role; however some filing is required. The ability to move files open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary would be required.
