Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required
Bachelors Degree in technical discipline required 14 years experience OR Highschool diploma 18 years experience in program of similar scope type and complexity.
Must be a US citizen
Description:
Will be an integral member of the DNS DHCP IPAM (DDI) Operations Team and will be responsible for the IP Address Management process. Responsible for the automation of requirements management change management requirements gathering/tracking and configuration management. Projects require automated solutions to effectively manage the requirements link source documents and architectures. The Tools Engineer shall work with teams to identify engineer and implement the most optimum automated solution that follows approved processes for a given project or addition Tools Engineers shall work with all other infrastructure support teams as other teams as part of a solution to identify engineer and implement solutions that integrate with the automation/infrastructure/productivity tools.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Design and implement secure and scalable DNS DHCP and IPAM (DDI) solutions using Infoblox DDI.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex DDI issues
Automate DDI workflows to improve efficiency
Provide technical expertise and guidance to internal teams on all aspects of DDI including IPv4 and IPv6
Knowledge of IPv4 and IPv6
Maintain the latest Infoblox DDI features and best practices
Required:
DOD8570-M IAT Level 1
Experience with DNS DHCP IPAM Load Balancing (F5/DTC)
Familiar with outages latency issues & trouble shooting
Proven experience designing and implementing DDI solutions
Experience with load balancing technologies
Strong understanding of networking concepts including IPv4 and IPv6 Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Experience with scripting (Perl Python) and automation tools (Ansible)a plus
Desired:
DNS experience with an understanding of administration of Infoblox
Experience with Infoblox trouble tickets
In-depth knowledge of Infoblox DDI (DNS DHCP IPAM)
Salary varies based on Years of experience: $1607000- $184500
A variety of factors can impact the final salary offered including but not limited to geographic location Federal Government contract labor categories and wage rates relevant work experience specialized skills and competencies education and certifications.
