Job Summary

The University of Rochesters Department of Dermatology seeks to add a Mohs Surgeon at the level of Assistant Professor to its Faculty. The responsibilities of this position include providing outpatient and inpatient dermatology services with a focus on Mohs micrographic surgery as well as teaching dermatology residents and medical students.

The successful candidate must have an MD degree with board certification or eligibility in Dermatology Mohs fellowship training and have (or be eligible) for a New York State medical license. The successful candidate will be responsible for enhancing and expanding an academic clinical practice in Dermatology at the University of Rochester Medical Center affiliated practices and will hold a primary faculty appointment in the Department of Dermatology at the University of Rochester. The candidate will provide clinical care to inpatients and outpatients as well as participate in educational programs for residents in Dermatology Internal Medicine Family Practice and medical students at the University of Rochester. Engagement in other academic pursuits may include scholarly efforts presentation of lectures locally and nationally and pursuit of clinical research.

Eligible for NYS medical license
