Material Planner I

The Material Planneris responsible forensuring thetimelyandaccuratesupply of materials needed for production. This role coordinates with procurement suppliers production andlogisticsteams tomaintainoptimalinventory levels minimize shortages or excesses and support overall manufacturing efficiency

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan schedule and manage material requirements to meet production schedules and customer demand.

• Monitor inventory levels and adjust planning parameters to balance supply and demand effectively.

• Create andmaintainmaterial requirement plans (MRP) and ensure data integrity in ERP systems.

• Collaborate with procurement to place and track purchase orders resolve discrepancies andexpeditematerials asrequired.

• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time deliveries and handle any supply chain disruptions or delays.

• Analyze demand forecasts lead times and consumption data toanticipatematerial needs.

• Work closely with production planners and warehouse teams tooptimizematerial flow and minimize waste.

• Prepare reports and KPIs related to inventory on-time delivery shortages and supplier performance.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline planning processes and improve material availability.

Qualifications:

• Education:Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration Operations ora relatedfield.

• 0-2years of experience in materials planning production planning or supply chain management (manufacturing environment preferred).

• Technical Skills:

• Proficiencyin MRP/ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle Microsoft Dynamics)

• Proficiencyin Microsoft Office tools: Word advanced Excel Power Point.

• Knowledge of inventory management principles and lean manufacturing concepts

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities

• Highly organized and detail-oriented
