AsaGuestAdvocateno two daysare ever the same but a typical day willmost likely includethe following responsibilities:
Create an Easy Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments:
Greet:
10ft: be friendly smile make eye contact or wave
4ft: greet the guest smile andinitiatea warm helpful interaction
Help guests find what they need and/or resolve issues to ensure a smooth easy shopping experience
End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you
Actively support team efforts andassistpeers in other areas whilemaintaininga positive and respectful attitude
Adjust to business and guest needs to deliver an easy and inspiring guest experience
Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
Make the guest aware of current promosstoreactivitiesand events.Understand and show guests how to use the features and offerings within the TargetAppincluding Wallet.
Know and speaktothe benefits of Target Loyalty programs with every guest andassistwith applicationsign-up and signing inas needed.
Scan and bag all guest items efficientlyaccuratelyand in compliance with food safety standards and company best practices.
Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time whilemaintainingguest service and accuracy.
Be familiar withOrder Pick-Up Drive Up andonlineorderingand know how to direct the guest to enroll activate and use these features.
Attempt every returnor exchangeand follow register prompts;partnerwith immediateleaders as needed to help solveissuesfor the guestwhile following Targets policies and procedures.
Maintain a clean clutter free work areabygatheringunpurchaseditems baskets and hangersfor removal.
Stock supplies during storeopenhours while being availablefor the guest.
Demonstrate a culture of ethical conductsafetyand compliance.
Work in a safe mannerat all times;comply withall safety policiesbest practices and training; report hazards and correct where possible.
Support guest services such as order pick up (OPU) Drive-up (DU) OrdersDUReturns andmaintaina compliance culture while executing those duties such as compliance with federal state and localadult beveragelaws.
All other dutiesbasedon business needs.

Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot

Accurately handlecheckout operations transactionsandsupport cash office operations as needed.
Scanhandleand move merchandise efficiently and safely includingfrequentlylifting or movingproduct up to 10 poundsand occasionally lifting or moving merchandise up to 44poundswithoutadditionalassistance from others.
Flexible work schedule (e.g. nightsweekendsand holidays); come to work when scheduledwork scheduled shifts and take required mealand rest breaks
Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift (shift length may vary).
Capable of working in and exposure to varying temperatures humidity and other elements while performing certain job duties including but not limited to Drive-Up carryout etc.
