• Shift: All shifts available (Day / Evening / Night)

Job Overview

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in a long-term care setting provides direct patient care and assists residents with daily living activities. The CNA works under the supervision of licensed nursing staff to ensure resident safety comfort and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing dressing grooming and feeding
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
• Assist with mobility transfers and positioning of residents
• Maintain hygiene and ensure a clean safe environment
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs
• Support meal service and assist with feeding when required
• Document care provided accurately and in a timely manner
• Observe and report changes in physical or mental condition
• Assist with toileting and incontinence care
• Follow infection control and safety protocols

Qualifications

Education

• High School Diploma preferred

Licensure and Certification

• Active CNA Certification (Maine required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Experience and Requirements

• New graduates welcome
• 6 months to 1 year of CNA experience preferred (LTC or skilled nursing)
• Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
• Basic knowledge of patient care and safety practices
