Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION Ideally courses to be taught as part of our daytime schedule. This part-time position will teach beginning and intermediate courses in UI/UX design motion graphics and responsive web design. The ideal candidate will guide students through user-centered design processes for digital platforms and mobile-first web development. Emphasis should be placed on conceptual thinking accessibility current industry tools and professional workflows.

Desirable Qualifications
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS Prior college-level teaching experience is preferred. Demonstrated experience collaborating with faculty staff and community partners to design and implement initiatives that support historically underrepresented marginalized nontraditional multilingual and learning-disabled students in achieving their educational goals.
Minimum Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Any Bachelors degree or higher AND two years of professional experience directly related to the facultys teaching assignment OR Any Associate degree AND six years of professional experience directly related to the faculty members teaching assignment OR Possess a valid California teaching credential authorizing service in a community college in the appropriate subject matter area. OR The equivalent. Equivalent qualifications may include related education training employment and professional experience that would be equal to the required degree(s) and experience in this field as determined by the District Equivalency Committee. Commitment to diversity.
