Position Summary:

This position is for EPES Transport LLC. a division of Penske Logistics based in Greensboro North Carolina

The primary purpose of the Dedicated Operations Manager role is to manage the day-to-day operation of assigned Dedicated Account(s) ensuring that Safety Customer and Driver Goals are met or exceeded. Driving profitability through contract compliance expense mitigation and business growth. Focus on delivering Revenue Operating Income and Pretax review financial statements to identify opportunities for improvement. Must work tactically and strategically to accomplish business needs.

This position will be on-site in Greensboro NC supporting an operation in New Bern NC. Occasional monthly travel is required.

Shift: MondayFriday 7:00 AM4:00 PM

Responsibilities:

Schedule customer shipments to meet service expectations serving as the primary point of contact for tactical customer needs.

Ensure accurate and timely submission of payroll in accordance with company policies.

Submit billing accurately and on time; collaborate with customers to resolve any billing issues promptly.

Manage daily driver interactions addressing operational concerns and escalating issues as needed.

Coordinate with PTL to ensure timely preventative maintenance and repairs of equipment.

Execute company safety programs including Smart Drive High Risk Driver Reporting and driver coaching.

Contribute to the development and execution of business plan goals aligning daily operations with strategic objectives.

Other projects and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

HS Diploma / GED required

At least 2 years of Transportation Operation Experience required

Independent problem solving skills required

Intermediate computer skills

Regular predictable full attendance is an essential function of the job
