Job Title: Radiology Technologist
Location: Cincinnati OH 45219
Duration: 14 Weeks
Schedule: 4x10 Shift (08:30 AM 07:00 PM)
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures across multiple care settings. This role involves conducting routine radiographic fluoroscopic and portable examinations while ensuring patient safety and adherence to regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform radiographic procedures in accordance with physician orders.
- Conduct imaging in diagnostic radiology nursing units outpatient areas and surgical departments.
- Ensure proper patient positioning and operation of imaging equipment.
- Maintain strict radiation safety standards to protect patients and staff.
- Assist with scheduling imaging procedures and coordinating patient transport.
- Utilize radiology information systems to manage patient records exam orders cancellations and reprints.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional departments to ensure smooth workflow.
- Report equipment malfunctions to Clinical Engineering and notify management as needed.
- Participate in quality assurance regulatory compliance (ODH Joint Commission) and departmental audits.
- Support and assist Radiologic Technologist students as needed.
- Remain flexible and available for additional assignments or on-call support when required.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology sterile techniques and isolation procedures.
- Experience with patient positioning and operation of radiographic equipment (X-ray machines printers).
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Education
- Graduate of an ARRT-accredited Radiologic Technology program
Certifications & Licensure
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Required
- BLS (American Heart Association) Required
