Aerial Groundman

We are currently seeking a Ground-Hand to join our Aerial department this role you will support the aerial lineman with various manual tasks including preparing tools managing supplies digging trenches and driving trucks or reel tenders. The position requires being available for on-call rotations to assist the team. We are looking for motivated team-oriented and hardworking individuals who are eager to grow with our company.

• Employee will be subjected to outside weather conditions
• Employee could be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions cold heat and humidity.
• The noise level in the work environment can often be loud
• The employee is frequently exposed to slow- or fast-moving traffic in the work environment
• Operators must be willing to work overtime as dictated by workload volumes.
• Ability to read cable phone and fiber prints
• Ability to read prints for accuracy and scope of work.
• Follow safety rules and practices (Wearing PPE Set-up Work Zone proper cones spacing and traffic signs etc.)
• Must comply with OSHA related standards.
• Maintain a professional working attitude with managers co-workers and customers at all times.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have a valid driver license (Will be required to drive a company vehicle safely as needed to get to each job site to perform work.

• A high awareness of safety and compliance with company safety rules is required at all times.

• Must be committed to working safely.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• The ability to lift 75 lbs.
• The ability to work outdoors in a diverse environment.
• Must be able to work from heights from an elevated aerial device. (0 to 80)
• Must be able to work on feet all day
