The Role: As aSenior Project Estimator you will play a critical role in shaping projects at their earliest and most influential stage. Youll lead estimating efforts for complex commercial construction projects partnering closely with project teams designers trade partners and owners to develop thoughtful accurate and competitive estimates.

This role is ideal for someone who values both technical excellence and human impact - and who wants their work to leave a lasting mark on the Fort Wayne community.

What Youll Do

• Lead the estimating process for assigned projects from conceptualestimatesthrough final bidding
  
• Develop complete scopes of work quantity takeoffs and detailed cost analyses
• Solicit evaluate and level subcontractor and supplier pricing
• Review drawings specifications schedules and contract requirements to identify risks and opportunities
• Collaborate with Project Management Field Operations Safety and Business Development teams
• Participate inand help leadpreconstruction meetings with owners architects and engineers
• Mentor and supportestimators with varying levels of experience
  
• Contribute to continuous improvement of estimating processes and best practices

What You Bring

• 8 years of construction estimating experience preferably in commercial construction
• Strong understanding of construction means methods materials and sequencing
• Proven ability to independently manage complex estimates
• Experience reviewing frontend specifications and contract language
• Proficiency with estimating and project management tools
• Strong communication skills and professional judgment
• Bachelors degree in Construction Management Engineering or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
