The Verification Specialist is responsible for performing as a subject matter expert for the department. This includes the text of any deliverable is free of all errors according to the subject matter provided by the client. Any errors found must be reported to the Account Coordinator to be fixed within the Lago software and indicated on media for revision by designers. Longer hours may be required due to subject matter volume or advanced press deadlines.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform as subject matter expert in all aspects of verification process. Understand verification platform and grasp software and carrier access methods.
Answer questions from team and help with issues while avoiding disruption in workflow.
Identify areas needing training and report to Supervisor.
Master day-to-day knowledge of the Verifications department and follow best practices.
Investigate and resolve data inconsistencies.
Suggest areas for process and procedural improvement and report to Supervisor.
Audit fellow Verification Specialists work for accuracy.
Approve batch or send back for re-work.
Provide back up support for all functions of team.
Assist other departments with verification needs support or special projects during downtime or as needed.
Work on special projects with accuracy and meet deadlines as assigned.

Average manual dexterity in use of a PC phone 10 key sorting filing and other office machines.

Ability to work independently to meet objectives.
Ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to function under pressure and deadline oriented project demands as well as manage multiple initiatives.
Required Education/Experience:
Associates/Bachelors degree preferred.
Knowledge of Comosoft Lago software a plus.
Knowledge of Workamajig software a plus.
Knowledge of the Spanish language a plus.
