We are searching for a talented Patient Intake Coordinator - Oncology

Hours: 40hrs

Shift: Day shift 7:30am - 4:00pm

Location: Cancer Center - Fairhaven MA

**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 24 hours.

• Equal to completion of four years high school plus additional specialized courses or training required.
• Associates degree preferred.
• Strong communication skills working knowledge of medical terminology exceptional attention to detail customer service focus with excellent telephone skills/etiquette required.
• Must possess strong reasoning and critical thinking skills.
• Competency with Microsoft Office i.e. Word Excel etc. is required.
• A minimum of three (3) years experience in a fast paced healthcare environment is required.
• Experience in an oncology practice environment and with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) is required.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.
