The RN LDRP provides comprehensive nursing care across labor delivery recovery and postpartum. This role requires strong clinical expertise adaptability and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative patient-centered team environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide patient care throughout labor delivery recovery and postpartum
Monitor maternal and fetal conditions
Assist with both vaginal and cesarean deliveries
Deliver newborn care in a Level I nursery setting
Educate patients and families on postpartum and newborn care
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems (Epic)
Float to other units or affiliated campuses as required
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of LDRP experience
Current BLS ACLS and NRP certifications (required)
Experience with Epic EMR system
Degree accreditation must be listed on profile OR minimum 5 years of relevant experience
Work Requirements
Must be willing to float (travelers are expected to float first)
Must be able to function at the level of core staff
Strong teamwork communication and collaboration skills
