Title: RN LDRP
Location: Cape Coral FL
Duration: 13 Weeks
Job Summary
The RN LDRP provides comprehensive nursing care across labor delivery recovery and postpartum. This role requires strong clinical expertise adaptability and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative patient-centered team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care throughout labor delivery recovery and postpartum
- Monitor maternal and fetal conditions
- Assist with both vaginal and cesarean deliveries
- Deliver newborn care in a Level I nursery setting
- Educate patients and families on postpartum and newborn care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems (Epic)
- Float to other units or affiliated campuses as required
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of LDRP experience
- Current BLS ACLS and NRP certifications (required)
- Experience with Epic EMR system
- Degree accreditation must be listed on profile OR minimum 5 years of relevant experience
Work Requirements
- Must be willing to float (travelers are expected to float first)
- Must be able to function at the level of core staff
- Strong teamwork communication and collaboration skills
