Position: San Ramon CA or Frisco. TX (Hybrid)

Braze Integration Campaign Instrumentation CDP & Data Pipeline

Role Summary

We are looking for a MarTech Integration Engineer to lead the technical integration of Clients pre-installed software experience with Braze for omni-channel messaging across email push and in-app. This role will own the setup of omnichannel campaigns on Braze instrument event tracking across Clients installed base and ensure reliable data flows between a CDP (Hightouch) data warehouse (Databricks) and Braze.

You will work closely with Product Marketing Operations Engineering and Data teams to develop detailed functional design specifications outlining workflows and user journeys that align with business goals. Youll also design and implement scalable end-to-end solutions that support personalized customer experiences managing complex data structures user attributes and event tracking. Additionally youll leverage segmentation tools to create dynamic audience segments while crafting multi-channel campaign flows using Brazes Canvas tool to drive customer engagement through automated messaging and real-time interactions.

Must Have

Braze integration

Hands-on Braze SDK integration experience on Windows/desktop or web platforms - critical given Clients pre-install distribution model

Ability to instrument custom events user attributes and session tracking via Braze SDK with well-defined event schemas

Familiarity with Braze REST API for server-side event ingestion and user profile management

Knowledge around Liquid APIs webhooks.

Ability to setup monitoring alerting and reporting using Braze tools and enhancing them for customized business needs

Braze CRM Platform

Deep hands-on experience with Braze campaigns Canvas journeys and audience segmentation - this is the core of the role

Proficiency in building multi-channel campaigns (push in-app email) with proper frequency capping quiet hours and audience filters

Strong understanding of Braze user profiles custom events and custom attributes to power personalized messaging

Experience with Braze Connected Content for real-time data pulls and dynamic personalization within message templates

Experience configuring A/B and multivariate tests within Braze and using analytics to validate message performance

Data Pipeline & CDP

Experience with data modeling and data ingestion processes.

Strong SQL skills for building user segment tables event schemas and data models in Databricks

Experience with Hightouch or similar reverse-ETL tools to sync CDP audiences and attributes into Braze

Understanding of identity resolution - linking device-level or account-level IDs to unified Braze user profiles across Clients installed base

Nice to Have

Technical

Familiarity with Databricks Delta Lake notebooks and scheduled jobs for pipeline automation and segment refresh

Experience with Braze Connected Content for real-time data pulls within message templates

Knowledge of webhook integrations between Braze and external systems or internal APIs

Exposure to A/B and multivariate test instrumentation within messaging platforms and downstream analytics validation

Understanding of Client or similar security software deployment models - pre-install OEM partnerships and update-based messaging triggers

Familiarity with MoEngage and having experience migrating between CRM platforms.

Domain & Soft Skills

Experience working within a CDP-first architecture (e.g. Hightouch Segment mParticle or similar)

Familiarity with privacy and consent frameworks - GDPR CCPA - particularly relevant in a security software context

Ability to translate marketing campaign briefs into technical event specs and data contracts bridging marketing and engineering

Prior experience in a platform migration context - cleanly decommissioning a legacy MarTech tool while maintaining continuity
