Research Associate I
Responsibilities:
- Lead application focused research efforts that provide direct technical support to R&D projects in paints and coatings construction materials water and the energy industries fostering innovation.
- Contribute to the development of novel formulations using new and existing active ingredients and next-generation delivery technologies.
- Utilize analytical chemistry techniques including HPLC to characterize the performance criteria of new formulations.
- Collaborate with lead scientists other research associates and broader interdisciplinary teams including regulatory marketing and product development to support and drive projects from concept to commercialization.
- Effectively manage time across multiple projects and competing demands demonstrating a proactive approach to execution.
- Maintain a safe and organized laboratory environment while assuring compliance with safety regulations.

Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Chemistry Biochemistry or Chemical Engineering.
- A minimum of 3 years of industrial laboratory experience in a research product development or technical application setting.
- Prior experience with analytical techniques (HPLC) and industrial product formulation a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and creative thinking.
- Experience working in a team-oriented research setting to drive projects toward completion preferred.
