Location: Hybrid - Remote mostly but must travel to site for preplanned meetings so semi local ok expenses not covered.

Rate : $85/hr to $90
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Solutions Architect to design guide and govern technology solutions that support clinical workflows patient care delivery and healthcare interoperability. This role bridges clinical operations and IT architecture ensuring solutions are scalable secure interoperable and aligned with regulatory and patient safety requirements. The Clinical Solutions Architect partners closely with clinicians enterprise architects and solution delivery teams to translate clinical needs into practical standardsbased technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Solution Architecture & Design
- Design end-to-end clinical technology solutions across EHRs clinical applications data platforms and integration layers.
- Translate clinical workflows and care delivery requirements into scalable solution architectures.
- Develop solution architecture artifacts including diagrams integration patterns and reference designs.
- Standards Interoperability & Best Practices
- Apply and promote healthcare interoperability standards (HL7 v2 HL7 FHIR CDA DICOM).
- Ensure solution designs align with enterprise architecture standards data governance and security policies.
- Contribute to reusable clinical solution patterns and reference architectures.
- Governance & Compliance
- Participate in architecture review boards to validate solution alignment with clinical regulatory and security requirements.
- Ensure solutions comply with HIPAA HITECH and healthcare data privacy regulations.
- Partner with cybersecurity and compliance teams to embed security and privacy by design.
- Clinical & Technical Collaboration
- Collaborate with clinicians clinical informaticists product owners and IT delivery teams to ensure solutions meet care delivery needs.
- Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders by explaining technical options in clear clinically relevant terms.
- Support solution delivery teams during implementation testing and golive phases.
- Continuous Improvement & Innovation
- Monitor emerging healthcare technologies such as AIenabled clinical decision support telehealth remote patient monitoring and digital front door solutions.
- Recommend architectural improvements to enhance clinician experience patient outcomes and system performance.
- Support modernization initiatives including cloud adoption and legacy clinical system optimization.
- Tooling & Documentation
Leverage enterprise architecture and solution documentation tools (e.g. ServiceNow Enterprise Architecture Module modeling tools SharePoint).
Maintain accurate versioncontrolled clinical solution documentation and architecture repositories.

Required Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Systems Health Informatics Nursing Informatics or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in solution architecture clinical systems architecture or healthcare IT.
- Handson experience designing and integrating clinical systems within complex healthcare environments.
- Strong understanding of healthcare interoperability standards (HL7 FHIR DICOM).
- Experience working with EHR platforms (e.g. Epic Cerner MEDITECH).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with clinical and technical stakeholders.
