Job Description

• Integrate acquired company telecommunications and voice environments into enterprise architecture
• Ensure business continuity and minimal disruption during mergers and acquisitions
• Support telecom cost optimization vendor consolidation and platform standardization
• Participate in pre- acquisition due diligence activities including assessment of:
• PBX platforms
• Voice over IP and unified communications solutions
• Carriers circuits and SIP trunks
• Contact center technologies
• Identify integration complexity regulatory constraints technical debt and risk
• Provide integration cost estimates and timelines
• Ensure Day 1 voice connectivity and executive communications
• Implement temporary or hybrid call routing solutions as required
• Lead Day 2 integration activities including:
• Migration of legacy PBX systems to enterprise voice and unified communications platforms
• Consolidation of carriers and migration of direct inward dial numbers
• Configuration of call flows interactive voice response systems and hunt groups
• Integration of contact center platforms
• Drive optimization and standardization efforts including:
• Alignment to enterprise voice standards such as Microsoft Teams Voice and Cisco Unified Communications
• Decommissioning of legacy systems and redundant vendors
• Optimization of licensing routing performance and voice quality
• Partner with network engineering security end user computing application teams and contact center teams
• Coordinate with external carriers and telecommunications vendors Qualifications:
• 7 12 years in telecom/voice engineering; 3 5 years in M&A integration or large-scale migrations.
• Proven leadership in multi-site migrations (50 sites) global integration and minimal-downtime cutovers.
• Preferred certifications: Cisco CCNP Collaboration/Enterprise Microsoft Teams Voice Engineer Expert ITIL.
• Key Skills:
• Deep VoIP troubleshooting architecture design migration planning.
• M&A due diligence integration playbook execution rapid decision-making.
• Strong documentation vendor coordination cross-functional collaboration. Tools and Technologies:
• Core Technologies: VoIP/UC (Teams Voice Cisco UC) SIP RTP SRTP SBCs (AudioCodes Ribbon Oracle).
• Contact Center: Genesys Cloud/Engage NICE CXone Five9 IVR/call flow engineering.
• Network: WAN/MPLS/SD-WAN QoS LAN/WAN routing VPN.
• Cloud/Collaboration: Microsoft 365 Azure/AWS UCaaS/CCaaS.
• Security: Firewall integration segmentation encryption (TLS SRTP) compliance.
