Project: Data Center Co-location and Migration Project

Project Overview:

The project focuses on executing a large-scale data center co-location and migration initiative for the NYC Department of Social Services
The primary objective is to migrate legacy IBM FileNet content management systems from existing environments to a modernized secure and resilient infrastructure
This includes transitioning databases (DB2/Oracle) upgrading FileNet P8 platforms and moving systems from AIX to Linux environments
The consultant will play a key role in ensuring seamless migration of content repositories enabling secure archiving and retrieval maintaining synchronization between production and disaster recovery systems and optimizing performance
The project also emphasizes minimizing downtime ensuring data integrity and implementing scalable enterprise content management solutions aligned with modern infrastructure standards

Required Skills:

4 years experience in migrating to large complex Filenet databases (DB2 and Oracle)
4 years experience with Develop a consolidated resilient Content Manager environment prepared for the data center supporting secure archiving and retrieval. This includes MSAR (Magnatic Storage and Retrival) Snaplock migration
4 years experience with Troubleshoot monitor modify and debug FileNet MSS synchronization software between Production and disaster recovery Image Services
4 years experience in IBM Content Navigator and Filenet/P8 migration and planning
4 years experience in Design and implement upgrades migrations and architectural solutions for multiple document services system from AIX to LINUX platform
