Job Summary
Job Title: MRI Technologist
Job Type: Contract (13 Weeks)
Work Schedule: Monday Friday 3:00 PM 11:30 PM
Hours: 40 hours per week
Location: Hackensack NJ
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to perform high-quality magnetic resonance imaging procedures. The ideal candidate will work under physician direction to produce accurate diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI procedures in accordance with department protocols and standards
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
- Operate MRI equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
- Process and review images in a timely manner
- Collaborate with radiologists to optimize imaging protocols
- Maintain accurate patient records logs and documentation
- Monitor and maintain equipment functionality; report issues as needed
- Ensure adherence to all safety hygiene and regulatory standards
- Provide excellent patient care and communication throughout procedures
- Assist with departmental workflow and support team operations as needed
- Transport patients safely when required
- Maintain inventory and notify leadership of supply needs
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Certifications & Licensure:
- Active state MRI license (or eligibility)
- ARRT (MRI) certification required
- Basic proficiency in English (speaking reading and writing)
