Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality perioperative patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment. The RN will collaborate closely with physicians and the surgical team to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes throughout the surgical process.

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional nursing care using the nursing process (assessment planning implementation evaluation)
• Assist physicians during surgical procedures and ensure proper sterile techniques
• Prepare operating rooms instruments and equipment prior to procedures
• Monitor patient status before during and after surgery
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
• Educate patients and families regarding surgical procedures and post-operative care
• Ensure compliance with safety infection control and hospital protocols
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License Texas
• BLS Certification (AHA)
• Strong clinical organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure surgical environment
