Job Opportunity: Locum Urology Physician in Anderson SC

AnMed Medical Center is seeking dedicated urology specialists to join its locum pool for future coverage needs in the vibrant city of Anderson South Carolina. This facility is well-equipped with lab and X-ray services onsite ensuring a comprehensive healthcare environment for both patients and providers. Job Responsibilities:

• Provide urology care exclusively for adult and geriatric patients.
• Work a 24-hour call schedule (6 am to 6 am).
• Perform hospital-based surgeries averaging 2-5 per weekend.
• Manage approximately 15-20 patients daily.
• Document using the Epic electronic medical record system.
• Operate in a facility with no other urologists present during assignments.
• Conduct necessary procedures including ureteroscopy laparoscopic surgeries trauma management nephrectomy and incontinence procedures.

Qualifications:

• Board Certification in Urology (required).
• Active South Carolina medical license (required).
• Demonstrated clean background (required).
• No new graduates; must exhibit substantial experience and strong ratings.
• BLS/ACLS certifications (preferred).
• Self-query NPDB report (required within 30 days of presentation).
• Submission of one professional reference at the time of presentation (required).

Licenses and Certification Requirements:

• Active South Carolina physician license (required).
• Board certification in Urology (required).
• BLS and ACLS certifications (preferred).
