The Position
The Device Development function within Roche Technical Development is responsible for the development and support of drug delivery devices for the product portfolio. Our activities span a range of engineering disciplines from the requirements definition phase through to commercialization and marketed product support.
The Opportunity
In this role you will support leaders and teams across PTDZ with a broad range of administrative and organizational activities. You will play an important role in ensuring smooth daily operations enabling efficient collaboration across functions time zones and cultures. You will work in a dynamic environment that requires flexibility discretion strong prioritization and a proactive mindset.
Administrative Excellence: Provide high-quality administrative support including correspondence expense handling meeting preparation and calendar management.
Coordination and Planning: Organize and coordinate internal and external meetings including team meetings and virtual meetings while ensuring smooth logistics and effective scheduling.
Event Coordination: Plan and execute team meetings departmental off-sites and large-scale events such as Town Halls managing venues technical needs and materials.
Travel and Operations Support: Manage travel arrangements and support day-to-day administrative and operational activities in a reliable and service-oriented manner.
Procurement and Systems Support: Handle administrative aspects of spend management processes including invoices and purchase orders and maintain relevant systems and databases accurately and up to date.
Team Support and Collaboration: Coordinate interview processes support onboarding activities for new employees and collaborate closely with other assistants to ensure seamless coverage and support across the organization.
Who You Are
Commercial diploma or equivalent qualification
Several years of experience working as an Administrative Assistant preferred
Highly motivated team player with excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and approach problems with practical thorough and creative solutions while also contributing effectively within a team
Strong ability to multitask and set priorities effectively
Stakeholder and Vendor Management: proven ability to lead cross-functional collaboration
Proficiency in relevant and current business applications used in daily operations such as MS Office Google Workspace Veeva and Smartsheet
Strong organizational skills excellent written and spoken English and conversational German
