What you will be doing:
- Design build and maintain robust backend services APIs and integration solutions using C# .NET and Azure Cloud focusing on API and event-driven patterns.
- Write clean maintainable and testable code applying sound engineering practices (testing debugging code reviews secure development).
- Deliver scalable and maintainable integrations across internal platforms and third-party systems.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines automated testing deployment readiness and release quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration failures defects and performance issues within distributed services.
- Support system reliability performance observability (monitoring logging alerting) and maintainability participating in incident resolution and root cause analysis.
- Actively contribute to agile ceremonies and collaborate closely with Product Managers Designers QA Data Operations and frontend teams.
- Clearly communicate progress technical constraints trade-offs and delivery risks to the Engineering Lead and the broader team.
- Partner with the Engineering Lead to apply standards and architectural patterns; contribute to engineering documentation and knowledge sharing.
- Identify opportunities to reduce technical debt simplify solutions improve delivery speed and quality and stay current with engineering and Azure best practices.
What our client is looking for:
- 3 years software engineering experience with a strong focus on backend development and complex systems integration.
- Hands-on experience with C# .NET and the Azure cloud ecosystem.
- Proven expertise in building/maintaining RESTful APIs backend services and robust integration solutions using Azure Cloud services.
- Good understanding of modern integration patterns: API-led event-driven and asynchronous.
- Strong grasp of clean code rigorous testing effective debugging version control and secure development practices.
- Exposure to CI/CD automated testing monitoring and modern software delivery methodologies (e.g. Agile/Scrum).
- Ability to quickly troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across distributed systems and multi-point integrations.
- Familiarity with key Azure integration technologies (Service Bus Logic Apps Functions Event Grid) and asynchronous messaging (Kafka/RabbitMQ).
- Experience contributing to the scalability reliability and supportability of backend and integration systems.
- Excellent problem-solving communication and collaboration skills with high emotional intelligence and the ability to work effectively across diverse teams.
