Job Summary

Sebenzana APP is seeking a detail-driven and motivated Draughtsman to support our Project Engineering team in delivering high-quality technical drawings for complex engineering projects.

In this role you will transform engineering concepts into accurate 2D and 3D drawings across industries such as power generation petrochemical and heavy engineering.

Key Responsibilities

Develop detailed technical drawings using CAD tools
Produce 2D and 3D models (AutoCAD Inventor SolidWorks)
Generate PFDs P&IDs isometric drawings and BOMs
Interpret engineering designs into precise technical drawings
Modify designs to resolve technical challenges
Perform on-site verification and measurements
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards

Requirements

Draughting qualification (N5 or equivalent)
23 years experience in a similar role
Project engineering experience
Exposure to power generation (advantageous)
Valid drivers license and passport
Must reside in the Gauteng area

Technical Skills

AutoCAD (essential)
Plant 3D (advantageous)
Inventor / SolidWorks
MS Office

Additional Information

Required Skills:

BEng / BSc in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent Pr. Eng with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) 10 years in the power generation petro-chemical engineering and/or energy-intensive sector with proven project leadership experience. Mechanical systems high-energy equipment design and analysis process optimisation and engineering standards (ASME API ISO) High attention to detail strong analytical thinking proactive mindset excellent communication and mentoring ability Demonstrated alignment with Sebenzana APPs core values: Integrity Excellence Collaboration

Required Education:

Bachelor of Science degree in STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Math).
