Key Responsibilities:
- Draft international tax opinions and advisory papers
- Interpret local and international tax legislation including double tax agreements
- Advise on cross-border transactions and global structuring
- Apply international tax principles to complex multi-jurisdictional scenarios
- Engage in client consultations and strategic advisory discussions
- Conduct technical research and produce high-quality professional documentation
- Work closely with multinational clients on international and cross-border tax matters
Experience and Skills Required:
- Law Degree or CA(SA) qualification
- 23 years experience in corporate or international tax (law firms accounting or advisory)
- Exposure to international tax transfer pricing or cross-border structuring preferred
- Strong analytical thinking and technical writing ability
- Confidence to work independently and take ownership of advisory work
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
