In Abbotts Core Diagnostics Division
We provide diagnostic solutions used in hospitals laboratories and clinics around the globe. The critical information derived from our tests instruments and informatics systems is often the first step in patient care decisionmaking across a wide range of health conditions
The role of FP&A Manager based in South Africa plays a pivotal role in supporting the Financial Controller while acting as a strategic business partner to the Managing Director commercial teams and crossfunctional stakeholders. You will lead financial planning forecasting reporting and governance for the Africa Diagnostics Division while developing a highperforming FP&A team.
What Youll Work On
Lead monthly quarterly and yearend financial reporting ensuring accuracy compliance and timeliness
Drive FP&A activities including annual plans LBEs forecasting and variance analysis
Partner closely with senior leadership to deliver insights that support strategic and commercial decisionmaking
Oversee P&L performance balance sheet reviews cash flow and working capital management
Build and maintain robust financial models to support investment and strategic initiatives
Ensure strong financial controls governance and adherence to Abbott accounting policies
Manage internal and external audits and proactively identify financial risks and mitigation plans
Lead coach and develop the FP&A team building capability and accountability across finance
Drive FP&A activities including annual plans LBEs forecasting and variance analysis

Qualifications
Completed CA(SA) or CIMA qualification is essential
Minimum 8 years experience in FP&A / financial management roles
At least 5 years proven leadership experience essential.
Experience within a multinational FMCG and/or healthcare environment
Strong systems experience (SAP TM1 Hyperion HFM)
Advanced Excel financial modelling PowerPoint and BI tools (Power BI Tableau)
Ability to communicate complex financial insights to nonfinancial stakeholders
Minimum 8 years experience in FP&A / financial management roles
At least 5 years proven leadership experience essential.
Experience within a multinational FMCG and/or healthcare environment
