We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Head of GTS Business Management.
Inthis role you will:
- Strategy & Execution: Lead the development articulation and implementation of the GTS strategy including priorities targets and strategic initiatives aligned to Group objectives.
- Business Management & Performance: Drive business management disciplines including planning financial oversight cost control and performance management.
- Operating Model & Transformation: Shape and deliver the GTS target operating model organisation design and transformation initiatives.
- Governance Risk & Control: Ensure effective governance operational risk management and adherence to regulatory compliance and internal control requirements.
- Analytics Insights & Decision Support: Provide high-quality timely insights to senior management to support strategic decision-making and investment evaluation. This may include supporting sales teams with high quality insights performance tracking analytics business lead generation and growth initiatives.
- Embedding Digital: Own & deliver automated / simplified processes for monitoring financial performance and related reporting. Champion the use of AI/ productivity suite for sales process management & KPI tracking
- Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with senior stakeholders across GTS CIB Finance Risk Compliance HR Marketing and regional leadership teams to effectively grow the GTS business in a sustainable manner
- People & Culture: Support the GTS Head in driving the GTS people agenda building high-performing teams and an inclusive high-engagement culture.
- Thought Leadership: Position GTS as a market leader through internal and external engagement benchmarking strategic communications events and industry participation.
- Operate effectively in a global matrix environment influencing across regions and functions without direct authority.
- Drive alignment consistent messaging and execution across diverse markets and stakeholders.
- The role holder may have direct reports and would require steering the team towards achieving the broader Business Management and GTS objectives
- Ensure fair treatment of customers and compliance with all applicable laws regulations policies and standards.
- Proactively identify assess and mitigate operational and conduct risks.
- Maintain strong internal controls and ensure timely remediation of audit and regulatory issues.
To be successful you will need:
- Strategic thinking and high level of business acumen and commercial awareness with proven record to drive initiatives to deliver tangible results. Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB) and/or Global Trade Solutions (GTS) experience is an advantage.
- Demonstrated success operating in global matrixed organisations influencing senior stakeholders across business and functions without direct authority.
- Strongcommercial financial and governance acumen with experience in business planning / FRP / P&L management cost management and operating within regulated environments.
- Experience withdata analytics and having digital acumen is a plus. This includes analyzing both internal/external data and determining the best way to represent the conclusion to stakeholders.
- Exceptionalcommunication judgment and leadership capability with experience advising and challenging senior executives and building high-performing teams.
- Typical qualifications include undergraduate or post-graduate degree in Business Administration Economics Computer Science Finance or a related field
