Job Summary
Position Title: Laundry Steward / Assistant

Department: Facility Management
Key Responsibilities
-
Operations: Correctly operate all laundry machines and equipment according to operating manuals and safety standards.

Sorting & Processing: Sort soiled linen uniforms and garments ensuring correct marking and washing procedures are followed.

Finishing: Perform ironing of uniforms to meet FEC quality standards.

Maintenance: Conduct operational maintenance tasks for equipment and report any malfunctions to the team leader.

Chemical Management: Use chemicals correctly as detailed in Material Data Sheets (MDS) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) ensuring no misuse of supplies.

Inventory & Documentation: Accurately fill out production sheets and assist in tracking uniforms and linen.

Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and tidy laundry area and keep equipment in good condition.
Job Specifications

Education: High school graduate.
-
Experience: 23 years of experience in large-scale laundry operations as an attendant or runner.

Technical Skills: * Deep knowledge of laundry processes and the usage of specialized machinery.
- Basic inventory management for uniforms and linen tracking.
- Ability to perform operational maintenance on laundry tools.

Technology: Technical knowledge of basic computer systems.

Communication: * Proficiency in the English language.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.

- Full compliance with cleaning and safety standards.
