Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Landscape Specialist to manage and maintain landscaping operations within a Facilities Management (FM) environment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge in horticulture landscape maintenance and irrigation systems ensuring the aesthetic and functional quality of outdoor spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all landscaping and horticultural activities across the facility
- Plan design and implement landscape improvement projects
- Supervise landscape maintenance teams contractors and vendors
- Ensure proper maintenance of lawns plants trees irrigation systems and hardscape elements
- Monitor plant health soil conditions pest control and fertilization programs
- Develop and implement seasonal planting plans and landscape schedules
- Ensure compliance with environmental health and safety standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (BSc) in Agriculture Horticulture Landscape Management or related field
- Certified Facility Manager (CFM) certification is preferred
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of overall experience
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within the Facilities Management (FM) industry
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of plants irrigation systems and landscape design
- Experience in FM operations and outdoor asset management
- Leadership and team management skills
- Budgeting and project management capabilities
- Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations
