Warehouse Binning Supervisor

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Provide supervision leadership and guidance to the team reporting to him.
2. Maintain smooth coordination with other Supervisors end-user focal points other supply organization personnel.
3. Work with Deputy Warehouse Manager closely to update statistics on a daily basis and ensure smooth operation and unform policy & procedure implementation.
4. Monitor KPI performance and take adequate measures to improvement.
5. Ensure Safety compliance and leadership to his team.
6. Ensure Stock Materials received in the Warehouse are binned conforming to the Qatar gas purchase order specification and have the appropriate supporting documentation.
7. Co-ordinate with Material Management section to preserve materials received which are flagged in QM Module for QA/QC preservation.
8. Ensuring materials are packed and stored as per specification requirements.
9. Ensure materials are binned at appropriate locations and avoid Multiple Bins.
10. Ensuring Binned material is updated in Company business system SAP in a timely manner.
11. Ensure the safe off-loading handling and storage of Hazardous Materials /Chemicals and availability of MSDS (Materials Safety Data Sheet) within the vicinity of binned location.
12. Ensure material and equipment is stored safely securely and preserved in accordance with manufacturer recommendations or Preservation Procedure.
13. Co-ordinate the timely removal of expired/Damaged Materials/Spare Parts from the stock inventory and business system after notification from Materials Inventory section.
14. Ensure materials of critical nature (Valve piping materials electronic/instrumentation items etc.) received through MRS/WRD are supplied with required certificates from user department confirming the integrity of materials. Same to be attached in SAP.
15. All lifting tools and equipment returned through MRS should be inspected/certified by company nominated third party.
16. Appropriate direction of employees to ensure all work is performed in a safe manner.
17. Maximize efficiency by binning received material to facilitate easy management of FIFO (First in First Out) system during picking process.
18. Support timely issuance of material by picking and delivering material to issuance area in a timely manner.
19. Co-ordinate and support cycle count team to perform asset cycle count activities.
20. Ensure the timely update of batch management in coordination with Materials Integrity.
21. Periodic report runs for expired materials and process write-off documents in Company System.
22. Coordinate with IWM for disposal of written-off / expired materials.

Profile Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution in Science / Commerce / business administration or Diploma in Engineering with additional 3 years of experience or an equivalent Educational Qualification approved by Head of Warehouse.
Minimum 10 years of experience in a warehousing environment with extensive knowledge in materials receipt binning and dispatch with a minimum of 5 Years in the oil and gas sector and with at least 3 years as Binning supervisor.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP WM module will be an advantage

Good experience with Quality concepts. (ISO 9001 Series).

Good written and oral communication skills in English.

Good leadership and interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team member.

Good experience in dealing with vendors suppliers and contractors in Oil and Gas sector.

Good adaptability to multinational environments with wide exposure to various cultures and customs
