As the legal team we support all areas of Fever by offering scalable legal support clear advice risk management and legal insight that allow teams to move quickly and stay focused on what matters.

The Role

We are looking for a driven and ambitious lawyer to join our international In-House Legal Team supporting Fevers fast-growing operations with primary responsibility for Brazil. Reporting directly to the Lead Counsel IBERIA you will play a key role in enabling Fevers continued regional expansion in Portugal and the rest of Iberia region.

As Legal Counsel - Portugal you will provide proactive business-oriented legal support across a wide range of matters from commercial contracts and corporate governance to regulatory and compliance issues. Youll collaborate closely with teams such as Business Development Tax Finance Product Originals and Operations to provide pragmatic solution-oriented legal guidance that supports Fevers continued growth across the region.

What Youll Do

• Drafting / revising Portuguese and English language commercial contracts terms and conditions RFP submission documentation and similar legal documents
• Supporting commercial teams in the negotiation of deals and documents
• Researching legal issues related to product development and regulatory compliance
• Coordinating with internal stakeholders and external advisors to prioritise and manage legal matters
• Assisting and participating in knowledge management and operational excellence within Legal including by identifying the need for and participating in preparation of templates guides processes and similar documents and tools
• Participating in ongoing compliance functions and product advice as required
• Upskilling support and growth of other team members

Who You Are

• Be a practising lawyer with 5 years of post-qualification experience working in a Portuguese-speaking jurisdiction.
• Professional fluency in Portuguese and English is essential with proficiency in an additional language a strong plus.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with a high level of emotional intelligence.
• Experience working on international projects or with global teams.
• A team player who is adaptable and eager to learn.

This position will be located in Lisbon with some flexibility for starting dates.
