For this position the perfect Rhino should have the following skills:
- Degree in Computer Science Software Engineering Data Engineering or a related technical field
- 5 years of proven experience in Data Engineering or related roles
- Strong experience designing building and maintaining data pipelines
- Solid knowledge of data modelling ETL/ELT processes and data warehousing concepts
- Experience working with SQL and large-scale datasets
- Experience with modern data processing frameworks (Spark Flink or similar)
- Strong expertise in Docker Kubernetes and Terraform with a DevOps-oriented mindset
- Experience with Kafka or other streaming/data ingestion technologies
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or similar tools)
- Solid experience with Cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP)
- Experience working with distributed systems and scalable data architectures
- Familiarity with data lakes data warehouses and analytics platforms
- Proficiency in Portuguese and English (minimum C1 level)
- Fluency in French is a great plus
- Availability for a hybrid work model 2-3 times a week in the Porto or Lisbon offices (requires availability to relocate to Portugal)
