Stolt-Nielsen Limited (SNL) is the specialist storage and transportation provider for bulk liquids: chemicals clean petroleum gases vegetable oils biofuels and oleochemicals. What you will be doing:
The Continuous Improvement Expert shall provide support to the GSSC in the development and implementation of continuous improvement strategies. He/ She is expected to develop methodologies and framework on project management continuous improvement and to ensure that the teams in the GSSC are adhering to the guidelines. The Senior Specialist is expected to ensure that projects are supported closed and reported.
The Continuous Improvement Expert is expected to collaborate with global Stolt counterparts in driving Stolt wide improvements that the GSSC can benefit from. He/she will also act as a continuous improvement champion and coach to the GSSC teams.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain project management framework using the disciplines of Lean Six Sigma and project management. This includes ensuring that projects are progressing and carried through to completion.
Ensure that all projects are following the requisite methodology. Monitor and report on the progress of the projects to management and stakeholders.
Conduct regular process review to identify opportunities for improvement. Ensure that recurring and priority issues are investigated to root cause and recommend transfer projects ensure that the incoming tasks are aligned to the global processes or plan the alignment after transfer.
Integrate best practices in project management into the GSSC project framework and ensure that this is cascaded to the teams regularly.
Train and coach project teams in driving and completing their projects.
Perform other ad-hoc activities that may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
Degree in Business or Engineering
Six Sigma Black Belt Certified; Master Black Belt preferred
Certified project management advantage (PMI/Prince II)
6 years experience in projects and continuous improvement preferably in a shared service environment or in a dynamic global organization
Exposure to finance function/ SSCs
Lean and six sigma practitioner with proven track record in implementing projects
Experience in process migrations an advantage
Collaborative mindset

Project management; MS Projects expertise an advantage.
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to collaborate in various team-oriented environments
Proven organization skills
