Alphatron Marine is an importer supplier installer and service provider of high-quality navigation and communication equipment. You will work at the head office in Rotterdam one of the leading locations for world maritime business.

Your tasks

• Identifying and developing commercial opportunities in inland shipping;

• Managing key accounts and building long-term partnerships;

• Visiting clients on the ship or at the office;

• Conducting market research and identifying trends needs and opportunities;

• Collaborating with R&D to guide technical innovations;

• Presenting and explaining solutions to end users and shipping companies;

• Preparing quotations managing CRM and actively following up on leads;

• Negotiating and closing deals;

• Analyzing market developments and adjusting where necessary;

• Actively contributing to innovation through new ideas and customer insights.

As a solution-oriented Inland Shipping Sales Manager you are the driving force behind our commercial successes in a market full of technological innovation. You know how to sell innovative solutions even before they are fully developed. You understand the customers challenges and together with R&D translate them into concrete future-proof products. Long-term partnerships with our customers are our goal. Naturally we will provide you with thorough training so that you can assist our customers expertly. Radar ECDIS track pilot pilot or black box technology You advise on the full range of high-tech inland shipping solutions. Everything under one roof: one-stop shopping for inland shipping at the highest level.

You switch effortlessly between technical commercial and customer relations and thrive in a dynamic market where you make a difference. You are an energetic personality who dares to set the course and is not afraid to cast off.

• Commercial mindset

• Higher professional education (HBO) working and thinking level preferably with a technical / maritime educational background

• Excellent communication skills

• You adapt easily network and are articulate

• Knowledge of the maritime world and an affinity for technology

• Good knowledge of the Dutch language
