About the role

You will be part of a team of five motivated Casualty underwriters and will report to the Casualty Profit Center Manager in The Netherlands.

The role as Sr. Underwriter Casualty will predominantly involve: Study analyze manage and quote general ledger major and middle market business in accordance with the AIG guidelines authorities strategy processes and tools:

Manage analyze and defend an existent portfolio of business

Build up a profitable book of new business

Prepare risk referrals for new and existing business

Handle rater tools and prepare booking instructions

Participate in client/broker meetings

Monitor portfolio of the book in relationship with claims

Handle the commercial relationship with clients and brokers

Give presentations trainings and take care of internal and external networking

Invest in different underwriting excellence initiatives
