In a nutshell

At Picnic were looking for an enthusiastic People Associate to join our Amsterdam HQ. Our People team aims to revolutionize human resources in the same way that Picnic has shaken up grocery delivery.

Picnics central team is built up out of 1200 talented individuals spread across three main locations: Amsterdam Paris and Dusseldorf. As a People Associate youre part of the People team at our Amsterdam office working closely with People Business Partners and fellow People Associates to support our central team.

In this role youll be the first point of contact for colleagues across Picnic for all People-related topics. From supporting day-to-day HR operations to helping colleagues find the right answers youll play an important role in keeping our People processes running smoothly. Youll collaborate closely with the wider People team and colleagues across the business bringing structure to a dynamic environment and helping create a great employee experience.

Tricks of the trade

• Support function: Supporting People Business Partners with scheduling reviews and check-ins
• Workforce planning: Keeping track of our workforce and maintaining personnel records
• Project management: Managing people related projects designing and improving people programs / processes
• HR documentation: Updating internal databases (e.g. courses new hires etc.) preparing HR documents (e.g. welcome letters feedback reports)
• Onboarding: Hosting monthly onboarding programs and other events

Your superpowers

• Bachelors degree preferably in HR Hospitality or a related field
• 12 years of experience in a similar role
• Interested in HR operations and improving processes
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Flexible and adaptable able to stay organized when priorities shift
• A team player with a positive mindset and confident communication style
• Strong administrative skills with the ability to maintain a clear overview
• Service-oriented and proactive in supporting others
• Experience working with Google Sheets; experience with Workday is a plus
• Fluent in English both written and spoken; Dutch is a plus
