ROLE DETAILS
The client is a fast-growing company that designs builds and manages digital infrastructure that makes buildings perform better. This is for the people who live and work in them and for the operators and investors that run them.
This position is focused on a hands-on field engineer who is actively involved in the delivery maintenance and troubleshooting of network infrastructure.
You will be working directly with network equipment including switches routers and telecom systems diagnosing faults and supporting live environments alongside the NOC and wider technical teams.
The role combines installation maintenance and fault-finding responsibilities across multiple customer sites ensuring networks are delivered and maintained to a high standard.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Carry out hands-on installation testing and commissioning of network and telecom equipment
Diagnose and resolve faults across network infrastructure (switches routers Wi-Fi and fibre)
Work closely with NOC and support teams to troubleshoot and resolve live issues
Conduct site surveys and support project delivery on customer sites
Take an active role in maintenance activities across multiple locations
Support and guide subcontractors where required but remain technically hands-on
Ensure all installations meet quality and technical standards
Complete documentation reporting and provisioning requirements
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
Fluent in both French and English (written and verbal)
Strong background in IT networking or telecom environments
Hands-on experience with structured cabling Ethernet and fibre installations and testing
Experience working on projects and delivering work on customer sites
Comfortable diagnosing faults and working in live environments alongside technical teams/NOC
Experience dealing directly with customers suppliers and multiple stakeholders
Ability to manage competing priorities and work in fast-paced environments
Confident using Excel or Google Sheets for reporting and documentation
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
ECS / CSCS (UK) or AIPR / DICT (France) certification for site access
Full EU driving license (Permit B or equivalent)
Valid passport with flexibility to travel internationally when required
Willingness to work outside standard hours where needed
Able to adapt to workload peaks and changing project demands
Process-driven with a structured and conscientious approach
