Sr. SAP Functional Configurator (SAP MM Retail)

We are seeking an experienced SAP Functional Configurator with strong expertise in SAP MM with Master Data IS-Retail and S4 Hana n to join our team in Costa Rica!. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in implementation enhancements and production support along with a solid understanding of business processes in Materials Management and Retail.

Responsibilities:

• Primary responsibility is to interact and support application users and ensure availability of the applications in the production environment
  
• Work with the business users to analyze and research service desk tickets to resolve defects that are identified. Communicate the final solution to the business and coordinating the implementation of the solution to the production environment updating system documentation Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand and support new projects.
  
• Gather detail requirements from business users for approved mid-sized projects bug fixes and minor enhancements to existing projects.
  
• Experience in driving mid scale projects with cross functional interactions and business teams
  
• Perform design for approved mid-sized projects and minor enhancements to existing projects.
  
• Perform program configuration/modification data set up and cleansing activities using specific HD process techniques. Coordinate User Acceptance testing (UAT) with the Business Client.
  
• Knowledge of RICEFW Objects is required.
  
• Perform testing that include Functional Integration Performance Testing and prepare the testing document as required to support the team.
  
• Coordinate training and rollout plans for new systems or enhancements to existing systems.
  
• Provide direction and collaborate with cross functional teams and assigned contractors.
  
• Interface with Business Stakeholders cross functional teams IT Infrastructure teams Development teams to ensure that business requirements are properly configured and delivered
  

Requirements

Qualifications:

• 5 years of relevant work experience preferred- SAP Projects handling RICEFW Production support Troubleshooting.
  
• BS Computer Science or related field preferably SAP certified in Material Management/SD or Retail or S4 Procurement.
  
• Production Support experience is Must
  
• Experience with SAP / IS Retail implementation methodology and tools and exposure to Agile Methodology is preferred.
  
• S4 HANA experience is an asset.
  
• Ability to succinctly identify business requirements and document design.
  
• Ability to work with multiple interfaces related to Master data Ability to do analysis finding root cause of issue and provide solution to avoid reoccurrence.
  
• Ability to communicate to a wide variety of audiences both business and technical.
  
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
