We are currently recruiting experienced HGV (Heavy Goods Vehicle) Drivers for a well-established Dublin-based breakdown and recovery service company. This is an excellent opportunity for professional drivers seeking a stable role with a structured shift pattern.
Key Responsibilities
Operate heavy goods vehicles (up to 44 tonnes) safely and efficiently
Transport vehicles equipment or goods as required (breakdown/recovery operations)
Carry out roadside assistance and recovery tasks when needed
Secure loads in compliance with safety regulations
Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects
Maintain accurate records using digital tachograph systems
Follow all road safety laws and company procedures
Provide professional and courteous service to customers
Requirements
Valid HGV Licence (Category C or CE)
Valid CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)
Digital Tachograph Card
Previous HGV driving experience preferred
Good knowledge of road safety regulations
Ability to work long shifts including nights
Strong reliability and professionalism
Working Conditions
12-hour shifts (day and night rotation required)
4 days on / 4 days off schedule
Mix of local and regional work
Fast-paced environment including emergency response situations
