Production Operative (Food Manufacturing)
About the Role
Perform Recruitment is currently hiring Production Operatives on behalf of a well-established food manufacturing client in Co. Kerry. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable employer offering strong pay long-term progression and attractive benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate production and processing equipment
- Monitor product quality and ensure standards are met
- Work as part of a team to meet daily production targets
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Follow all health & safety and hygiene procedures
What Were Looking For
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment (preferred)
- Experience as a machine operator is a strong advantage
- Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
- Team player with a strong work ethic
- Flexibility to work rotating days including Saturdays
Pay & Benefits
- 15.16 per hour (based on a 39-hour week)
- Daily allowance: 89 for skilled / machine operator roles
- Overtime rates:
- First 2 hours at 1.5x pay
- Additional hours at 2x pay
- Bank Holidays are paid at double time
Additional Benefits (Permanent Employees)
- 4% annual bonus paid in December
- 8% employer pension contribution after 2 years (no employee contribution required)
Working Hours
- 39 hours per week
- Rostered Monday to Saturday
- Most roles include Saturday work with a day off during the week
