Description

As an Asset Sales Specialist you take ownership of the end-of-lease and default asset resale process ensuring assets are sold through the most effective channels to achieve fair market value. With a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset you continuously seek opportunities to optimise sales outcomes while upholding the highest standards of customer fairness. Day to day:

  • Expectation of two to three days a week spent in the field establishing and growing relationships with potential buyers to maximise selling opportunities for our assets.
  • Attend auctions trade fairs and accompany front end sales representatives to existing and new partner network to build and enhance relationships.
  • Build asset knowledge by attending inspections with our Inspection Agents and negotiate recharges in person with end user customers.
  • Perform in-person audits across all business units a minimum of twice a year or as required in specific partners.
  • Explore new channels for selling used equipment and reduce reliance on external auction houses by generating new customers and adding these customers to our own auction platform.
  • Introduce secondary finance as standard to all buyers.
  • Manage repossession cases alongside the C&R Team.
  • Work with the Marketing Team to increase our reach via Linked In and other methods to maximise selling opportunities and increase our profile.
  • Liaises with internal departments (front end commercial teams international asset sales end of lease sales support C&R Operations) and relevant external parties during the end of lease and / or the sales process.
  • All levels described in this reference job profile require at least two years of relevant experience and a higher vocational level of thinking.

  • Global company income (as set by the company).
  • Asset Sales income.
  • Number of days in stock.
  • Effective management of logistical & Inspection requirements.
  • Calculating recharges based upon inspection reports.
  • Customers introduced and onboarded.
  • Compliance with audit and insurance requirements.
  • Compliancy with Asset Sales strategy procedures and external regulations.

Essentials:

  • In-depth knowledge of soft or hard assets with specialised insight into a specific asset class or Business Unit and its corresponding market and products.

  • Ability & willingness to flex the knowledge you have for one asset class to other asset classes.

  • Skilled in identifying and leveraging optimal sales channels to maximise asset recovery and market value.

  • Committed to transparent fair and compliant sales practices aligned with Consumer Duty principles.

  • Delivers on commitments and takes ownership of responsibilities.

  • Demonstrates initiative and resilience when working independently or collaboratively to support collective goals.

  • Maintains an optimistic and solution-focused mindset contributing to a supportive team culture

  • Strong communicator (written and verbally) with the ability to influence and collaborate across cross-functional teams actively listensand values diverse perspectives.

  • Continuously improves asset sales processes to enhance efficiency compliance and customer outcomes.

  • Responds well to change and remains flexible in dynamic team environments.
