OUR HOTEL

You will be operating fromour dual branded site in Dundee Hotel Indigo and the Staybridge Suites. Thecomplex comprises of 85 long stay apartments and 102 Boutique hotel rooms witha full-service restaurant called Daisy Tasker and our recentlyrefurbished stylish bar Eighteen22. We are set in a 19th century converted linenmill with a salute to its industrial heritage maintaining its key features. Wehave some of the highest guest satisfaction scores in the country and prideourselves as two of the best hotels in Dundee.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT AT OUR HOTEL

  • Maintaining our hotels high standards ensuring every guest space facility and behind-the-scenes area operates flawlessly and looks pristine
  • Carry outshort term (reactive) maintenance work e.g. repairs affecting guest bedroomsand services as a matter of urgency while adhering to all safety procedures andcausing minimum disruption to guests.

  • Useoperate and store all tools equipment and materials safely and securely tocomply with statutory regulations

  • Maintainoperational standards to the highest possible level in respect of servicehygiene health and safety and ensure that there is minimal wastage

  • WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

  • Solid experience in a maintenance role ideally within hospitality or a similar setting
  • Expertise in HVAC electrical plumbing and general building maintenance with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Organisational and multitasking abilities to juggle a range of responsibilities and respond quickly to urgent issues
  • Flexibility to respond to urgent repairs including availability for occasional evenings weekends and on-call duties
  • A passion for maintaining a safe well-functioning environment that enhances the guest experience
